DAY 1
Arrival day & cozy dinner
Your flight from Stockholm to Luleå takes one hour. We will meet you at the airport, then we will spend the first afternoon getting to know each other and you will get to choose warm winter clothes.
A delicious two-course dinner awaits you in the restaurant in the evening, after dinner we will give you tips on the best place to see the Northern Lights later in the evening. If you are really ready to unwind, we recommend booking our sauna and hot tub under the stars, a great place to spot the Northern Lights.
DAY 2
Nordic Winter Skills & lunch
Closeness to nature is part of our everyday lives and today we will spend some time together and talk about the forest, the frozen sea and the nature that surrounds us. We will give you some tips on how to live and survive in the Arctic region. We will also look for tracks and signs from the diversity of wild animals that live in the area. The Nordic Wilderness skills activity also includes lunch.
In the afternoon you can relax, take a walk or consider one of the many optional activities available before dinner and then Northern Lights viewing.
DAY 3
Dogsledding
On day 3 we drive to our local husky kennel. Here you and your friend drive your own dog sled for an hour.
This evening, after dinner in the restaurant, you can relax and take an evening walk. Ask the staff at Brändön Lodge when there is the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
DAY 4
Snowmobile tour full day incl. lunch
Waking up to a new day by the frozen sea! After enjoying breakfast, we prepare for our four-hour archipelago nature adventure that includes lunch. We use snowmobiles to explore the frozen sea and islands of the archipelago. Out on the islands, we look for wildlife and pack ice formations.
This evening, after dinner in the restaurant, you can relax and hopefully see the Northern Lights.
DAY 5
Transfer & return trip
Depending on your departure time, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the lodge. Your transfer to the airport or train station will be arranged at a convenient time.

Dressing for Winter
In Swedish Lapland they say that there is no such thing as bad weather, there is only bad clothing. The secret to staying warm is having layers of clothing starting with woolen underwear and finishing with winter overalls, boots, gloves and a hat.
