Pêche sur la mer gelée
Découvrez une tradition locale lors de cette excursion guidée de pêche sur glace de 2 heures. Votre aventure commence par une balade en motoneige, qui vous emmènera, vous et votre guide, vers l'un des meilleurs sites de pêche sur la mer gelée.
Bien plus qu'une simple partie de pêche, c'est l'occasion de découvrir au plus près le milieu marin arctique et notre mode de vie unique. Votre guide vous expliquera tout sur la mer gelée, comment interpréter les conditions de la glace et comment se déplacer en toute sécurité dans ce monde glacial.
Une fois les trous percés, place au plaisir ! On se met à pêcher le gros poisson ; ici, on prend souvent de la perche ou, avec un peu de chance, du brochet. On peut ramener au lodge, pour le déjeuner, tout ce qu’on attrape.
Durant l'excursion, nous ferons une pause pour nous réchauffer avec une boisson chaude et du pain au café, tout en profitant du calme environnant. Tout le matériel de pêche nécessaire est fourni.

We just arrived home from another fabulous stay with Brandon Lodge. They took care of arranging all of the activities so makes the stay very easy. They provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and made to feel at home. Cabins cater for all you need and are very warm! The food is outstanding and you couldn’t fault any of the staff - everyone from our airport transfer to the management and guides all are friendly and knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble.
All outer-wear cold weather clothing is provided too!

Friendly staff, good food, clean cabin, and activities to pick from. We stayed at one of the self-serve cabins. There were two rooms, 4 beds total, a restroom with shower (soaps provided) and hairdryer, a small living area where we could play cards, a kitchenette with dorm size fridge, microwave, a cupboard of glasses and dishes, and a sink. At the lodge we had breakfasts and dinners, all of which were freshly and expertly made by the nicest staff. We took advantage of a couple of activities and were treated like old friends every step of the way.

We have recently returned from an incredible five days staying at Brandon Lodge with our 9 year old twins. I cannot praise this place more! The setting is stunning. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that you are having your best possible experience and the food is amazing! We did dog sledding, snow mobiling, ice fishing and the Sami/Reindeer experience and loved all of them. In between activities the children spent all their time toboggoning next to the lodge. They had their best holiday ever. We all did. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights. Thank you to all the team. We hope to come back!
