Vivez la puissance brute de l'Arctique lors de cette aventure unique à bord d'un brise-glace. Découvrez par vous-même le rôle crucial que jouent ces navires imposants pour maintenir ouvertes les voies de navigation le long de la côte baltique tout au long de l'hiver.
Votre voyage commence par un transfert confortable d'une heure depuis Brändön Lodge ou Pine Bay Lodge jusqu'au port de Piteå. Une fois à bord, vous ressentirez la puissance incroyable du navire qui fend les épaisses glaces de mer.
Le point culminant de l'excursion survient lors de l'escale du navire. Vous aurez alors l'incroyable et rare opportunité d'enfiler une combinaison de survie et de « nager » dans l'eau glacée du goulot d'étranglement créé par le brise-glace. Une expérience sûre, palpitante et absolument inoubliable.
À bord, vous pourrez vous réchauffer avec du thé et du café offerts tout en admirant le paysage glacé à couper le souffle. Cette excursion de deux heures est proposée deux à trois jours par semaine.
Votre aventure comprend un transfert guidé aller-retour jusqu'au brise-glace, pour une expérience sereine et sans tracas. La prise en charge à votre lodge est prévue à 8h15 et le retour vers 13h15, vous laissant ainsi tout le loisir de profiter du voyage.

We just arrived home from another fabulous stay with Brandon Lodge. They took care of arranging all of the activities so makes the stay very easy. They provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and made to feel at home. Cabins cater for all you need and are very warm! The food is outstanding and you couldn’t fault any of the staff - everyone from our airport transfer to the management and guides all are friendly and knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble.
All outer-wear cold weather clothing is provided too!

Friendly staff, good food, clean cabin, and activities to pick from. We stayed at one of the self-serve cabins. There were two rooms, 4 beds total, a restroom with shower (soaps provided) and hairdryer, a small living area where we could play cards, a kitchenette with dorm size fridge, microwave, a cupboard of glasses and dishes, and a sink. At the lodge we had breakfasts and dinners, all of which were freshly and expertly made by the nicest staff. We took advantage of a couple of activities and were treated like old friends every step of the way.

We have recently returned from an incredible five days staying at Brandon Lodge with our 9 year old twins. I cannot praise this place more! The setting is stunning. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that you are having your best possible experience and the food is amazing! We did dog sledding, snow mobiling, ice fishing and the Sami/Reindeer experience and loved all of them. In between activities the children spent all their time toboggoning next to the lodge. They had their best holiday ever. We all did. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights. Thank you to all the team. We hope to come back!
